A CORONER has ordered a further review into the death of a man who was hit by a train last year.
Sitting at Crook Coroner's Court this morning (February 23), assistant coroner, Crispen Oliver, heard how Stuart Banks, 30, died at Chester-le-Street Railway Station on December 16.
The court heard how an autopsy carried out on Mr Banks confirmed he died of multiple traumatic injuries consistent with the impact of a train.
Coroner's officer, Jaqueline Sirrell, also confirmed that the British Transport Police had submitted a report but that the court was still waiting for a full album of photographs to be submitted along with some more information from Mr Banks' solicitor regarding some legal proceedings before he died.
Mr Oliver ordered a further review to be held on April 13.
