BRITISH Transport Police (BTP) officers have released images of a man they would like to speak to after a bike was stolen from Metro station.
The theft took place at the Pallion Metro station, in Sunderland, just before 9.30pm on Tuesday February 3.
Investigating officer, PC Mick Proudfoot said: “The owner left his bike, a yellow Raleigh mountain bike, secured in the cycle rack at the station.
“After reviewing CCTV two men are seen getting off a train from South Hylton. As they leave the station one of the men steals the bike and cycles away.”
“We believe the man in the photos, who was wearing a black hooded top with a distinctive white JJ logo, may be able to assist our enquires. If you recognise him, please contact us.”
