ACCLAIMED playwright and novelist Michael Frayn is to be awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of York.
The author of Noises Off, Copenhagen and Democracy will receive one of four honorary doctorates being presented by the university next week.
The others will go to Professor Odile Eisentstein, one of the world’s most distinguished computational chemists; Prof Adrian Raine, a psychologist and biological criminologist; and medical scientist Prof Sir Michael Brady.
