A WOMAN has been bailed after admitting producing a quantity of cannabis at her home.
Chelsea Jack, 21, of Coleridge Avenue, Hartlepool, appeared at Teesside Crown Court to admit the offence on July 6 this year.
Her legal representative Andrew Teate said it was a “sole operation” – that she effectively grew the drug for her own use – although this basis had not been accepted by the Crown.
The Recorder of Middlesbrough, Judge Simon Bourne-Arton adjourned her case for a pre-sentence report.
Jack will sentenced following the trial of a co-accused, who denies the same offence, later this year.
