POLICE are urging people to be on the look-out for stolen goods being offered for sale after a burglary.
At 6.25pm on Monday (December 15) police received a report that two men, one armed with a knife, had entered an address in Westbourne Road in Millfield, Sunderland, and threatened a 23-year-old man.
The offenders took electrical items and drove away.
The man was not injured in the incident.
Extra officers are in the area, carrying out enquiries into the burglary and offering reassurance to residents.
Det Sgt Simon Auty said: "We're appealing for anyone with information to come forward, whether they say anything suspicious around Westbourne Road in Millfield yesterday evening or are offered similar items to those stolen we want to hear from them."
