Concern is growing for the welfare of a 52-year-old man from Seaham, County Durham, who has not been seen since Thursday evening.
Robert Duncan left his home address at 4.10pm on September 4 but has not returned or made any contact with his family since.
He is known to have driven off in a grey Ford Focus C Max, registration ND14 CTV.
It is possible that he may have travelled along the A17 heading towards Kings Lynn in Norfolk on Friday (September 5) evening.
He is described as being white 5 ft 11in tall, of slim build with short grey hair. He has a goatee beard and moustache and was last seen wearing a blue long sleeved top, blue tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Insp Steve Long of Durham Police said “This is totally out of character for Robert and his family are understandably very worried about him."
Anyone who may have seen Robert, or the car he was driving should call police on 101.
