POLITICIANS from the main political parties will debate the future of the UK’s energy supply next month.
The debate at Durham University will consider issues such as the role of nuclear power, fracking and renewable energies.
Conservative MP James Wharton, UKIP MEP Jonathon Arnott, Lib Dem Cllr Wendy Taylor, Labour Parliamentary candidate Liam Carr and Green Party spokesman Jonathon Elmer will take part in the discussion, chaired by Professor Jon Gluyas, Head of Earth Sciences, at Durham University.
The event will take place on Thursday, August 21 at 6.30pm in the Calman Learning Centre, Lower Mountjoy, Stockton Road, Durham.
