POLICE investigating the disappearance of Claudia Lawrence have concluded their search of a pub.
The Acomb, in Kingsway West, York, remained closed yesterday following dozens of officers and sniffer dogs conducting an intensive search of the property and its surrounding land on Wednesday.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said detectives, who believe the University of York chef who went missing in 2009 has been murdered, would not be returning to the pub today (Thursday, July 24).
A 46-year-old man from the York area, who was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, has been released on bail as investigations continue.
