A FIRE brigade and charity are looking for volunteers to help in the fight against arson and to help promote fire safety.
The Cleveland Fire Support Network (CFSN) charity, which has been running for more than eight years, is holding special events to recruit new volunteers.
The charity, which works closely with Cleveland Fire Brigade, already had more than 100 volunteers aged between 16 and 73.
As part of the thirtieth National Volunteer Week, the CFSN is inviting people to find out more about its work at the following drop-in events across Teesside, all of which are from 11am to 2pm.
On Sunday, June 1 the group with be Coulby Newham Fire Station, on Monday, June 2 at the Grand Hotel, Swainson Street, Hartlepool, Tuesday; Saltburn Fire Station, Wednesday, Loftus Fire Station, Thursday, Guisborough Fire Station, Friday, Yarm Fire Staiton and on Saturday, June 7 they will be at Skelton Fire Station.
As well as opportunities to chat with the CFSN's volunteers there will be free giveaways and a competition to name the charity's mascot.
