VEHICLE enthusiasts are gearing up for a weekend of vintage fun.
A vintage rally will take place at the Head of Steam – Darlington Railway Museum this Sunday (May 18).
Crowds of people are expected to visit the region for the annual show, which will see scores of rare and interesting vehicles on display.
Military vehicles, cars, buses and vans from across the North-East and Yorkshire will be exhibited between 11am and 3pm.
Visitors can explore the vehicles while enjoying a day at the museum, which is also hosting a number of activities.
Running alongside the rally will be vintage market stalls, a mini train ride, arts and crafts sessions, juggling and balloon making.
Nick Wallis, Darlington Borough Council’s cabinet member for leisure and local environment, said: “This event never fails to delight the crowds who come from far and wide to see the range of vehicles on show.”
Entrance is £1 or free for under-sixes and includes entrance to the museum.
