Vist County Durham's logo for its English Tourism Week events
DURHAM University is hosting a series of free events as part of English Tourism Week.
There will be free walking tours of the Durham World Heritage Site on Saturday (March 29) at 11.30am and 1.30pm.
There will also be free tours of Durham Castle.
Places must be booked, by calling 0191-334-3805 or emailing: visitor.centre@durham.ac.uk
Also on Saturday, entry to the Oriental Museum is free and there will be two talks: on the museum’s Korean collection at 2.30pm and its Japanese treasures at 3.30pm.
The following day, entry is free to the Botanic Garden and Palace Green Library.
