A MAN accused of stabbing to death a friend appeared before a judge today (Tuesday, January 28) and was remanded in custody until April.
Abdourahamane Barry was arrested on Saturday after police were called to a house in Carlow Street, Middlesbrough.
Mr Barry, who lives in Carlow Street, was questioned about the afternoon killing and was later charged with murder.
The 26-year-old today made a brief appearance in front of Judge Simon Bourne-Arton, QC, at Teesside Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody until a plea and case management hearing, which is expected to be held on April 8.
