HOTEL staff are taking part in a challenge to help raise £80,000 for the Princess Royal Trust for Carers.
The Gisborough Hall workers, will join forces with colleagues across the Macdonald Hotels and Resorts group to help raise the cash.
It is the first festive fundraiser for the group's nominated charity, and has been introduced to raise the profile of the community's carers during the Christmas season.
Kim Yardley, general manager at the hotel, said: "Throughout December, we will be encouraging people to take part in a series of raffles at our popular party nights, giving people the chance to win dinner for two as first prize, or a bottle of champagne as second prize.
"All monies raised will go direct to the charity, and we are all really keen to work together to give the organisation a fabulous festive package."
