A MAN was left with a fractured skull after a fight outside a Middlesbrough pub.
Police are keen to speak to witnesses of the assault, which happened at about 2.30am on Friday, outside Bar Fresco, in Wilson Street.
The 23-year-old fell to the floor after receiving a single blow to the head.
As he lay on the ground, a second man kicked and punched him.
He is now being treated for a double fracture to his skull in The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough.
A man was interviewed and released on police bail for the first attack, but police are seeking to trace the second assailant, described as white, in his late teens or early 20s, 5ft 8in, slim with brown hair.
