BLACK and white images depicting the industrial history of Teesside are to feature in an exhibition at Preston Hall Museum, near Stockton.
Bob Mitchell's Iron and Steel display consists mainly of images created with a large-format camera.
His photography shows the changing relationships between the area's urban, natural and industrial landscapes.
The images contrast the remains of the once-vast ironstone industry with the remaining steel works at Teesmouth that the mines once served.
While a portion this industry survives, another has long since passed and the landscape has been reclaimed.
The exhibition, funded through Arts Council England, opens at the museum's Focus Gallery on Saturday, and runs until January 27.
Admission is free, although normal entry charges apply to the rest of the museum.
