The parent teacher association at St Mary's Primary School, in Newton Aycliffe, is making the final preparations for its Christmas fair this week.
There will be a selection of stalls including tombolas for adults and children, a chocolate stall and raffles.
Father Christmas will be on hand to take requests for Christmas Day, and there will be refreshments on sale.
Entrance is £1 for adults and includes a chance to win a MP3 player or a TV. Children are admitted free.
The event takes place at the school in Central Avenue, Newton Aycliffe, on Friday, from 6 to 8pm.
