POLICE have issued CCTV images of a woman they wish to speak to in connection with a series of thefts of lottery scratch cards.

A number of lottery scratch cards were stolen from retailers in Ripon, Harrogate and Knaresborough between June 29 and July 11 and round £1,200 worth of scratch cards have been taken in ten similar incidents.

In each case the suspect has distracted the shop assistant before taking the cards and leaving the shop without paying for them.

The woman police wish to speak to is described as in her late twenties to early thirties, of medium build with blonde hair, usually tied up in a bun or pony tail.
