AN unchanged England side won the toss and elected to bat in the second Ashes test at the Adelaide Oval.
Despite speculation they may introduce Monty Panesar as a second spinner to replace Lancashire seamer James Anderson, the tourists chose to name the same line-up that lost the series opener in Brisbane.
It means Durham's under-fire strike bowler Steve Harmison will line up in an attack alongside Matthew Hoggard, captain Andrew Flintoff and Anderson, while Ashley Giles will be England's main spin option.
Australia also named the same line-up that completed a 277-runs opening Test triumph with experienced seamer Glenn McGrath successfully passing a fitness test on his injured left heel.
