Craftsmen have added a traditional Yorkshire touch to a newly-opened auction mart.
The experts have built a dry stone wall at the Thirsk auction mart, at the rural business centre, in Blakey Lane, close to the A19.
In total, 65 metres of stone wall was constructed using 80 tonnes of sandstone, which was quarried at Staindrop.
Mart director Ian Woodhead said: "I was keen to include an appropriate feature to welcome visitors and business users to the site.
"And walls built in the traditional Yorkshire style seemed just right."
The work was done by Keith Ledger, of Boltby, near Thirsk, helped by Brian Hawkins.
Mr Ledger is a member of the Yorkshire Dry Stone Walling Guild and a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen.
