A CHOIR is joining forces with one of the region's best-loved brass bands for a Christmas concert.
Durham Choral Society will team up with the Reg Vardy Band for a concert at Elvet Methodist Church, in Durham City, on Saturday.
The programme will include Handel's Hallelujah Chorus and Zadok the Priest, as well as traditional and modern carols.
All profits from the concert, which starts at 7.30pm, will be donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Tickets are £7 for adults, £5 for concessions and £3 for under-16s.
Tickets are available from the choir secretary, David Crookes, on 0191-384- 5515, any member of the choir or the tourist information centre, in Millennium Square.
