A MAN charged with importing knuckledusters into Heathrow Airport and possessing a large quantity of amphetamine will appear at Durham Crown Court this month.
Kiel Johnson, of Langdale Avenue, Crook, County Durham, is alleged to have imported the knuckledusters, a prohibited item, into the London airport on February 10.
The 27-year-old is also accused of possessing 2.3kg of amphetamine, a Class B drug, with intent to supply, on March 18, in Crook.
Today (Friday, May 3), Magistrates in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, committed the case to Durham Crown Court.
Mr Johnson, who is yet to enter a plea, was remanded in custody until his appearance on May 24.
