Police are appealing for witnesses after diesel was syphoned from three heavy goods vehicles in Washington Road, in Usworth, Washington, between 9pm last night (Wednesday, May 1) and 5.30am this morning (Thursday, May 2). Two vans also had fuel stolen while they were parked in Pottery Road between 11pm and 2.30am overnight. Anyone with information should contact Northumbria Police on 101 ext 69191.
