North Yorkshire police are hunting a suspected drugs smuggler from the region who failed to appear for a trial at Plymouth Crown Court. Robert John Steele, 28, whose last known address was in Tang Hall, York, was charged with illegally importing cocaine, Ecstasy, the Class B drug MMC and the Class C drug Ketamine. He also faces allegations of supplying Class A, B and C Drugs. Detective Inspector Dave Kirby called on Steele to hand himself in. He also urged any member of the public who knows anything about where he might be to contact them immediately by calling 101 or contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
