A MURDER probe has been launched after a woman was found dead at a house today (Monday, April 29).
A police spokesman said officers went to the property in Gosforth, Northumberland, shortly after 11am, after getting a report from a caller who had concern for the welfare of a woman inside.
Police found the body of a woman, who has not been named.
A man has been arrested in relation to her death and enquiries are ongoing.
