A MODEL dating Newcastle United’s star striker is to jump out of a plane for his charity.
Rachelle Graham, of Edmundbyers, in County Durham, is to skydive 10,000ft to raise money for Papiss Cisse charity, Friends of Sedhiou.
The couple have been together for about six months and the 21-year-old is planning to visit his Senegalese homeland in June.
The money raised by last year’s Miss Newcastle, will go towards funding a specially equipped ambulance and on furnishing a hospital in Sedhiou, Cisse’s home town.
Miss Graham, who runs Poppy’s sandwich and cafe bar in Ponteland, said: “His agent introduced me to the man who looks after the charity and it all began from there. Ever since I won Miss Newcastle I have always wanted to do a skydive for charity and so I decided to do it for Papiss’s charity.
“With me being Papiss’s girlfriend it means it’s a lot closer to my heart. I will be helping children who are less well off than we are and it makes it all worthwhile.”
