BIKER INJURED: A man was airlifted to hospital with a fractured leg after falling from his motorcross bike near Sedgefield, County Durham, at 3.30pm today (Monday, April 1). Paramedics from the Great North Air Ambulance gave the man, thought to be in his 40s, pain relief and put his leg in a splint before he was flown to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, for further treatment.
