MOTORIST INJURED: A 61-year-old man suffered serious pelvic injuries when his motorcycle was in a collision with a car. The accident took place at Winston, near Barnard Castle, at 3.35pm on Saturday (March 30). The man was treated at the scene and then flown to the James Cook University Hospital by the Great North Air Ambulance. The motorist is in a stable condition.
