A MAJOR theme park is installing three new rides this summer, including a roller coaster that uses the latest technology to “fly” park-goers.
Flamingo Land Theme Park and Resort will have a new prehistoric section called Dino-Stone Park when it reopens fully on Saturday, March 16 in an £8m project.
It will have three new rides, the Cyclosaurs, a hand gliding-style children’s ride, which arrives in Easter, the Twistasaurus which will be in place in June and in July it will bring in its star attraction, the Hero ride.
It uses new lifting technology to transport park-goers around a track in a flying position. The new section is the attraction’s largest ever investment development and will also include a dinosaur dig for young archaeologists and dinosaur models.
