A HARDWARE company has created seven jobs in a North-East town after opening a new store.
Screwfix has opened an outlet on land at the former Torrington Engineering plant, in Darlington.
The outlet is the company's 266th across the UK, and David Gallagher, store manager said: “This is our first store in Darlington and it is great news that we have been able to create seven new jobs.
“We look forward to welcoming tradesmen from across Darlington and DIY enthusiasts to the store.”
