COMEDY FANS: The Laurel and Hardy Appreciation Society will meet at Bishop Auckland Town Hall on Tuesday, February 5, at 7.30pm. All are welcome.
STARGAZING NIGHT: A stargazing workshop will be held at Killhope mining museum in Weardale, County Durham, between 6.30pm and 9pm on Saturday, March 2. The event for anyone aged over 11 will be led by Paul Meade and Friends of Sunderland Astronomical Society. Places cost £30 for adults and £10 for children, booking is essential on 01388-537505.
