SCHOOL children got to exercise their minds when they were asked to help work out a new name for a leisure centre cafe.
The pupils at Hunwick Primary School took part in a competition to think of a new name for the cafe at the Durham County Council run Woodhouse Close Leisure Centre, in Bishop Auckland.
Ten-year-old Eve Lodge proved fit for the challenge when she came up with the winning suggestion - The Rehydration Station.
The leisure centre cafe offers members and visitors using the leisure facilities the chance to enjoy drinks, healthy snacks and hot and cold food.
Mark Harley, leisure centre manager, said: "The Rehydration Station offers food and drinks to help members and visitors refresh and refill after their work out.
"We'd like to thank the pupils at Hunwick Primary School, and in particular Eve Lodge, whose imaginative idea for the name of the cafe was chosen as the winning suggestion."
Woodhouse Close Leisure Centre offers a range of fitness activities including swimming, a gym and exercise classes.
