A PUBLIC meeting for people in the Cornsay area to discuss concerns about crime with police officers is being held at Hamsteels Community Centre, Western Avenue, Esh Winning, on Wednesday, January 30 from 6pm-7pm.

It will be attended by a representative from the neighbourhood policing team and be specific to the area. Individual neighbourhood priorities will be discussed. All members of the community are welcome.

PLAY GROUP: A pre-school play group is held at Lanchester Community Centre during term-time every morning from 9.15am-11.15 am.

Sessions for Tiny Tots, up to two years old, are held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.15am-10.45 am.

TEAM SPONSORS: Annfield Plain under 13s football team have been sponsored by the print and design company 55print.co.uk who have bought squad’s teams training jackets.

They compete in the Russell Foster Third Division and are part of Annfield Plain Junior Football Club, which is a Charter Standard Club running football for boys and girls aged four to 17.

LIVE SHOW: The Sticky Kids Funky Monkey Sing-along is coming to the Lamplight Arts Centre in Stanley on Tuesday March 19 at 10am.
