THE next Archbishop of Canterbury is to guest edit The Northern Echo on January 11.
It had been expected the Right Reverend Justin Welby, currently the Bishop of Durham, would edit the paper on January 10.
However, the date has been moved due to the Archbishop-Designate’s other commitments.
The 56-year-old former oil executive first guest edited the Echo this January.
He was named as the next Archbishop of Canterbury last month and will be installed as Dr Rowan Williams’ successor in March.
