A CHARITY has brought some festive cheer to needy people by laying on a Christmas dinner.
The Foundation charity, which works with homeless people, those at risk of homelessness and ex-offenders, staged a full Christmas lunch for 35 guests at Waddington Street URC hall, in Durham City, today (Wednesday, December 19).
As well as the meal, there was a quiz, raffle, carol singing and everyone who attended received a Christmas gift.
The event was supported by the Greggs Trust, Lush at the Metro Centre, Tesco and Lidl.
