As part of our Foundation for Jobs campaign, this column is devoted to a young person so they can issue a come-and-get-me call to firms Name: Danielle Malcolm Age: 19, From: Originally from Newton Aycliffe but now living in Middlesbrough while studying at Teesside University.

Looking for: Part-time work using the web Danielle is studying for a BSc Science degree after completing her Level 3 in Software Development, and before that a Level 3 in ICT at Darlington College.

She left Woodham School in Newton Aycliffe with 5 GCSEs and dreams of one day becoming a website developer.

Danielle would love to find work that could fit around her studies at university while at the same time supplementing her web and technical knowledge.

She says university has been an enormous change from college life but she is loving the pace of her new education.

"I got a great grounding at Darlington College with some great tutors and it definitely prepared the way for university. Life would be even better if I could find some part-time work in this field which would add to my degree and help me learn on the job at the same time," she said.

She chose her course at Teesside after advice from tutors at college and is particularly looking forward to picking her second year learning module.

She says she is hard-working, cheerful and reliable and she would love to find work which could fit in with her student life and studies.

"Everybody I know is always looking but it's not easy out there for young people, especially if you are trying to fit in studies," she said.
