WIGHTMAN Derek, May 12th 2024, aged 81 years. Dear husband of the late Dorothy. Much loved dad of Angela and Catherine, and father-in-law to Ian and Mike. Devoted and loving grandpa to Natalie and Katie. Special brother to John, brother-in-law and uncle. A funeral service will be held in the Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon, on Friday 31st May, at 12.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Derek, may if desired, be left at the crematorium for the 'Dog's Trust' charity.
