A RECRUITMENT and training event is to help match up employers with potential employees.
Sure Start County Durham Recruitment and Information event takes places at Spennymoor Leisure Centre tomorrow.
It will feature 27 different organisations offering training and advice.
Caroline Moralee, from Sure Start County Durham, said: "This event brings partner organisations together with a common goal of supporting those in work or looking for work.
"Sure Start County Durham is developing childcare and children's centres across the county, but for this to be a success, there must be a workforce in place to ensure places are available.
"The event is also about informing employers how services offered through or by Sure Start and its partner organisations can support their businesses, particularly in recruiting and retaining staff by offering work-life balance options."
The event runs between 9.30am and 7pm and everyone is welcome.
