Walking my dogs is so important to me, there are various public footpaths within a couple of metres of the property. One of the walks begins across the road from the property and takes one through a couple of fields, one can then choose from continuing into the village and picking up other walks or one can continue onto the outskirts of the village. Another walk goes up a sharp incline to the side of the property's boundary, to the fields behind the house which one can see from the bedroom's windows. There are several other lovely walks from the village to neighbouring Sinderby.

The Village has a great restaurant/pub which is called the "Nag's Head". The owners are so welcoming and they will adapt all food to suit people's diet requirements. All of the food is home-made too and one can ring up 20 minutes prior to needing a takeaway and it'll be ready and waiting. The pub/restaurant also has Newspapers delivered to it daily, so one can obtain a Newspaper without having to go very far.

There is a place to get fresh milk in the village or get it delivered; my immediate neighbour sells Fresh Eggs.

Outside of Lockdown, there is a great social feel to the village with events being organised with neighbouring villages.
