“Good morning” blackbird in the tree
Will you sing a song for me?
The notes are sweet and true
Each day to start anew
All is well in the garden.
Ants are dashing round my feet
Birds are flocking down to eat
Leaves are rustling in the trees
In a light summer breeze
All is well in the garden.
The roses in full bloom
Are emitting their perfume
Bees are buzzing in the flowers
Working hard for hours and hours
All is well in the garden.
Sunshine setting in the west
Time of day I love the best
All is peaceful, calm, serene
Time to sleep and maybe dream
The bats are taking flight
And the blackbird sings “goodnight”
All is well in the garden.
