I started doing something
I said I would never do
Held out for as long as I could
I was one of the few.
Now I’m filled with remorse
People will think this absurd
Feel I’ve abandoned and forsaken
The spoken word.
I’m taking a chance to get out
Before my decision cannot be repealed
Get out and allow myself to speak
