CHILDHOOD friends The Courteeners are warming up for headline concerts with a special appearance at Scarborough's Open Air Theatre on September 8.
The band, which has become one of the UK’s premier guitar bands are playing the Open Air Theatre ahead of appearances at Glasgow's TRNSMT Festival and a show in their Manchester hometown. The 8,000 tickets for Scarborough go on sale at 9am on Friday June 25.
Their seventh Top 10 album 'More. Again. Forever' was released early last year.
Promoter Peter Taylor said: "This is amazing news for Courteeners fans and Scarborough OAT. I’ve always wanted to bring this brilliant band here, so to be able to present this exclusive warm-up show ahead of their headline spots is just fantastic."
