Chromatics: Kill For Love
DESPITE having been around for the best part of ten years, Oregon electro-band The Chromatics only broke into the public consciousness last year, after the pulsating Tick Of The Clock featured prominently on the Drive soundtrack and on a variety of adverts.
Ruth Radelet, Adam Miller, Nat Walker and Johnny Jewel return with a compulsive album of hypnotic pop music.
A startling cover of Neil Young’s Hey Hey My My before veering between the dreamy (Back From The Grave) and the frenetic (Lady), Kill For Love makes an excellent summer soundtrack.
