THE Teddy Boy has returned big time with this rock-n-roll finger-clicking, hip-swinging quintet.

In typical Fifties style, the lyrics are corny, but inoffensive, and that will be more than enough for those who feel the need to reach for their drapes and crepes and take a trip down memory lane.

I can’t see this band ever branching out beyond the comfort zone of their be-bop genre, therefore I don’t think they will ever go down in history as one of music’s life-changers, however they do have a feel-good quality about them, and have been brought up-to-date in the form of a swing Maroon 5.
