THE story of the advertising innovators of the late 1960s who did so much to change the face of commercial on TV.
The music revolution of the early 1060s was followed by another culture shock, as we became familiar with advert icons such as the Smash Martians, Happiness is a cigar called Hamlet and The Art of Fly Fishing by JR Hartley by the likes of Alan Parker, Charles Saatchi and our own Ridley Scott who, of course, followed the rock stars with a penchant for drugs, sex and the odd bout of megalomania.
A hippy, happy and often hilarious snapshot of an age of innocence and indulge, egomania and eccentricity and a vast amount of satisfaction of one sort or another.
