Thomas ‘Spats’ Langham

The ‘hottest man in town’ is back in Darlington on Saturday 8 September for a lunchtime gig with Darlington New Orleans Jazz Club.

Red hot guitar and banjo wizard Thomas ‘Spats’ Langham teams up with international piano man Jeff Barnhart to provide some breathtaking musical entertainment from the Great American Songbook, and earlier. Last time the duo performed at the club they received a standing ovation so they’re already primed to deliver another world class performance.

Venue: St Augustine’s Parish Hall, Larchfield Street, Darlington 12.30pm Saturday 8 September. Entry is just £10 on the door, and children 15 and under go free. www.darlingtonjazz.co.uk

Coming up - Saturday 15 September Jeff’s back for another lunchtime gig at St Augustine’s – presenting his Great Silent Movie Show, a treasure trove of stories and films from the early days of cinematic comedy, with live piano accompaniment by Jeff himself. He weaves his musical magic from scene to scene whilst Buster Keaton romps through hilarious car chases, stunts, suspense and romance on the silver screen.
