RITA has long been the go-to person for those suffering personal woes in Coronation Street (ITV), and Gemma needs her now more than ever as Zoe and Roxy wage a cyber war against her.

Thankfully, their actions give Gemma a way of proving that she was a victim and never meant to harm Rita. Her scheme also offers Rosie a chance to use her acting skills - and they must be pretty amazing because somehow, she manages to convince the villains that she's a lawyer who will bring down the full weight of the justice system down on them if they don't leave her 'client' alone.

Later, matters get more serious when Rita's odd behaviour makes Gemma wonder if she have dementia.

Gary is back from Ukraine and has another job lined up there too, but he hopes to make things up with Sarah in the meantime.

Elsewhere, Sally decides to run for mayor, Phelan comes clean with Nicola and Will lands the job of refurbishing the bistro.

In EastEnders (BBC1), Shirley arranges the world's worst double date as she invites Whitney and Woody over for lunch so Linda can see for herself that there's nothing going on between Mick and his former daughter-in-law.

To be fair, Mick does manage to keep his hands off Whit, but the atmosphere is still strained as a tipsy Linda gets flirty with Woody before giving in to her simmering rage and telling him everything that's been going on. As the meal comes to an abrupt end, Mick warns Linda that if she can't move on, then their relationship might well be over.

Elsewhere, Lauren returns to the Square, and while she's doing quite a good job of pretending she wants to be get married, she admits that she can't support Steven alone and insists that they come clean to the Beales. Ian is devastated to learn about the 'tumour', especially as he's already worked up after being in contact with Bobby, but Jane later makes a shocking discovery...

Sharon pressures Phil to make amends with Jay, Carmel bristles when Max questions her about some council gossip, and Fi is behaving oddly.
