TWO top tribute bands add Ripley Castle, North Yorkshire, to the growing list of fun outdoor events this summer with a show on Saturday which is also raising money for the National Society for Epilepsy (NSE).

The UK Beach Boys and Queen B will roll back the years to hits of yesteryear for an evening of family entertainment, called Music on the Meadows, ending with fireworks.

The UK Beach Boys received the ultimate accolade in 2003, when they were invited to join The Beach Boys on stage at Thetford, during the Us band's brief visit to the UK.

Queen B has a blistering set ranging from Bohemian Rhapsody to Another One Bites the Dust.

Promoter Andrew Russell, of Russells Promotions, says: "We are really pleased to be expanding into North Yorkshire, which is our home territory. A significant proportion of monies raised go towards supporting a worthy cause with the National Society for Epilepsy."

Sir Thomas Ingilby, owner of Ripley Castle says: "We are always happy to host new and entertaining events for families to enjoy and we are especially pleased to be working alongside the Russell family in their endeavours to contribute towards such a worthwhile cause."
