Breaching the box office gap at Barnard Castle
THE Castle Players have stepped in to help at The Witham, in Barnard Castle, to save Teresa Wilcox and her dedicated front of house team with help selling the tickets for the company's popular annual outdoor show Henry V.
For the past few years Teresa has spent more than three months each year pouring over the booking forms, answering phone calls and checking online bookings. With only a few weeks before Henry V opens in the grounds of The Bowes Museum this would have been one of her busiest times, but this year Teresa can concentrate on other areas thanks to the Players finding members willing to support box office sales, allowing people to book in person at the town centre venue, by phone or online.
The community theatre company have been producing major outdoor theatre productions for more than 21 years. This year Henry V runs from Tuesday, July 5 to Saturday, July 9 in the grounds of the Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle. Tickets are on sale now from The Witham Box Office, on line from castleplayers.co.uk or from 01833-631107.
