A gloriously eclectic band, rather difficult to categorise but with a recurring Blue Note sound. Covers of Nardis, In a Sentimental Mood and Thelonius (sic) mix with blues, funk and occasional electronics with Hobart’s tenor inspiration ranging from Fathead to Pharoah Sanders on a very enjoyable album.
