MILK Link has increased its member milk price by 0.5p a litre.
Since the start of the financial year, it has increased its producer payment by 1.75ppl.
Its standard price for manufacturing milk is 25ppl and 25.22ppl for liquid milk.
Neil Kennedy, boss of the farmer-owned co-operative, said: “This latest rise reflects the securing of improved returns from retail and food service market sectors.”
